Well well, we all knew it would come eventually. American Apparel has sold itself as a sweatshop free company all at the same time being charged by the National Labor Relations Board for various violations regarding freedom of association. And now American Apparel has been sold to an investment firm Endeavour Acquisition Corporation. (You can learn more about AA going public from The Guardian's Rebellious underwear firm sold for $382m.) So what does this mean to its self proclaimed sweatshop free status? Will American Apparel workers continue to pay its workers the pay they deserve?
